Skyrim:Andurs' Arkay Amulet

Summary

Whiterun's Hall of the Dead is overseen by Andurs, priest of Arkay. When you first meet Andurs he will ask if you believe in Arkay and his sway over life and death. This is an opening gambit which he uses to determine how best to persuade you to retrieve his amulet, which he left behind in the catacombs. Andurs assures you that he would get it himself, however, strange noises are now coming from the catacombs and he fears the restless dead.

The quest involves retrieving an amulet for a priest, which is a minor act of altruism. It offers minimal financial reward and does not significantly impact power, status, or alignment.
