Summary

Upon installing the Wild Horses Creation, you will be directed to the Arcanaeum in the College of Winterhold to learn more about reports of a recent Unicorn sighting. Once there, you will find Soran's Journal sitting on Urag gro-Shub's desk. It details the research on Unicorns carried out by a wildlife scholar named Soran Hariksen, who sighted a Unicorn in the forests of the Rift. The creature is supposedly from the distant past and was brought forward in time by the Psijic Order after the last living Unicorn was sacrificed to Hircine during his quest in Oblivion.

The quest involves scholarly research and discovery, with a minor influence from the Daedric Prince Hircine. It is primarily focused on exploration and lore rather than combat or moral choices.
