Skyrim:First Edition

Summary

The biggest bookstore in Cyrodiil is called First Edition and is located in the Market District of the capital of Cyrodiil, the Imperial City. The bookstore is famous for its various limited editions of numerous rare books and also delivers to citizens outside of Cyrodiil, for example to Cindiri Arano in Raven Rock. Once you have freed Cindiri from Miraak's spell, she will greet you with: "You look able enough to venture outside of town. Perhaps you could help me recover something precious that was lost?" When asked to elaborate she will explain that she had an important folio rebound at the First Edition bookstore. Unfortunately, the folio never made its way back to Raven Rock. When you ask her if it was aboard a ship she will say: "Yes, the "Strident Squall" or something like that. The damn thing sunk right off the coast of Solstheim. Can you imagine?" She then explains that one of the sailors managed to crawl back to Raven Rock and tell the guards about the wreckage. When you offer to locate the folio for her, she will be grateful and even refer to it as a 'precious heirloom' to the family.

The quest involves retrieving a lost item, showing altruism and loyalty. It has minor elements of scholarship due to the book's importance.
