Summary

After making your way to Tel Mithryn, find and speak to Neloth and ask if you can help out. He will give you an extractor, and ask you to obtain an ash sample from an ash spawn as he is working on a spell to summon them. He will inform you that the ash sample can only be extracted from a dead ash spawn, but remains confident in your ability to "bring it about."

The quest involves helping a Telvanni wizard with research, offering moderate magical power and scholarship elements. It has low impact on social standing or moral dimensions.
