Summary

If you snoop around Black-Briar Meadery, you'll discover a memo to employees lying around speaking out about recent thefts. Speak to Romlyn Dreth and you'll find out that he is the source of the problem. He can be found in the lower level of the meadery at roughly after 1pm and The Bee and Barb in the evening. Romlyn has been selling Black-Briar Mead from underneath the meadery at a lower cost. He states that he can no longer get the mead out of Riften and offers to cut you in on the action if you deliver the mead to his customer.

The quest involves smuggling and selling stolen goods, which emphasizes greed and criminality. It disrupts order by undermining a business and involves a minor betrayal of trust.
