| Skyrim:Erik the Slayer (quest) Erik can be found staying in the Frostfruit Inn in the evening or working as a farmer for Lemkil in the small settlement of Rorikstead. He will be glad to see you, another adventurer: "You look like you've seen your share of adventure. I envy you that." In fact, he wants to be an adventurer like you, but his father Mralki doesn't agree. Not only does the farm need him, but his family couldn't afford to buy armor even if he did let Erik pursue his dream. Erik hopes you can talk to his father and change his mind. | imported |
| Skyrim:Extracting an Argonian If you talk to the residents of Darkwater Crossing (for example Sondas Drenim, a miner in nearby Goldenrock Mine), you will soon hear of an Argonian named Derkeethus who recently went to explore the pools around Darkwater - and who hasn't been seen in a long time. The residents will not be able to say for sure where Derkeethus is, but he has actually run into trouble inside Darkwater Pass. | imported |
| Skyrim:Falion's Secret Note: This quest does not appear in your journal. | imported |
| Skyrim:Few and Far Between Ingun Black-Briar has fallen far from the Black-Briar tree. Instead of learning the family business with her brother, Sibbi, she can be found devising alchemical recipes in Elgrim's Elixirs. The quality of her experiments seem to indicate a dark nature in this well-to-do girl, as she will allude to when speaking to her. Indeed, the ingredients she has depleted from Elgrim's stores are used to make some very powerful poisons. | imported |
| Skyrim:Fight! Fight! This is a radiant quest which you can receive from any of the following people. | imported |
| Skyrim:Find the Thalmor Assassin If you manage to get Malborn out of the Thalmor Embassy alive during Diplomatic Immunity, after the end of that quest, he will run all the way to Windhelm seeking shelter in the New Gnisis Cornerclub, a Dunmer tavern located in the Gray Quarter. If you used Brelas as a distraction during that quest, she will be nearby (see Bugs). Upon your next visit anywhere near the city of Windhelm a hidden timer of 1 in-game day starts, so be sure to receive and complete this quest fast. Approaching Malborn in the New Gnisis Corneclub will have him explain his situation: due to his treachery, he is obviously blacklisted by the Thalmor so he has decided to flee to Morrowind; however, every time he tries to sneak out of Windhelm, he sees a suspicious Khajiit outside the gates. Convinced that the Thalmor have sent an assassin to kill him, and still blaming you and Delphine for putting him in a tight spot, the scared Malborn is now stuck in the Cornerclub and will request your assistance to get him to safety. | imported |
| Skyrim:Finn's Lute This article is about the quest. For the item, see Finn's Lute (item). | imported |
| Skyrim:Fit for a Jarl If you meet up with Taarie in Solitude, she will comment on your outfit: "If you're heading to the Blue Palace, you might want to rethink that outfit." You may ask her for some suggestions on what to wear to meet the jarl. Taarie's abrasive attitude toward you will change immediately. She will regard your meeting in the Blue Palace as an opportunity to introduce Radiant Raiment to Elisif the Fair. Taarie offers to pay you to wear one of Radiant Raiment's outfits when you speak to the jarl. She'll let you keep the clothes as well. You may be skeptical of Taarie's sudden wellspring of good will; maybe she wants to make you look silly in front of the jarl. Taarie assures you that you cannot possibly look any sillier than you do right now, so go ahead and accept the offer. | imported |
| Skyrim:Flight or Fight Heartwood Mill, a remote lumber mill located where Lake Honrich turns into Treva River, seems less busy than other mills with only Grosta working the mill and her son Gralnach fooling around on and off the road. If you talk to Gralnach, he will explain his father disappeared without a trace and left him and his mother alone with a mill to run. Talking to Grosta will reveal her suspicion that Leifnarr ran off with another woman and that she can't run the mill by herself. She then explains how Leifnarr left to trade wood and grain with some merchants near the Morrowind border, specifically a place called Broken Helm Hollow, and will mark the place on your map. | imported |
| Skyrim:For the Good of Morthal Jarl Idgrod Ravencrone governs Hjaalmarch from her seat in Morthal. She is gifted with visions that seem to occupy most of her attention; she is less concerned with governing a people than she is with attending to her visions and passing on the wisdom she gleans. Her administration is under scrutiny as a result, as you will find out when visiting Morthal. If you speak to Gorm, Idgrod's housecarl, inside of Highmoon Hall he will be very solicitous of Ravencrone and her visions. However, if approached while away from the jarl he will reveal that his concerns are not just about her safety, but rather the condition her gift has left her in. He believes that she may no longer be able to adequately act as jarl of Hjaalmarch. | imported |
| Skyrim:Gharol's Message Gharol is a blacksmith living in Dushnikh Yal, the Orc stronghold southeast of Markarth. If you're permitted to enter the stronghold, you may talk to her about her weapon business. She will tell you that while she occasionally trades with the outside world, Orcs infuse their weapons with their private emotions: "An Orc blade is a very personal thing. Anger, regret, pride. All these things are put into our steel." In the conversation you will discover that Gharol's daughter, Lash, chose to leave the stronghold, breaking with Orc custom and bringing shame and grief to her mother. Gharol tells you that she has forged a sword to channel her feelings about her daughter's betrayal, and to send her daughter a message. Then she will ask you to honor her with a task: bring the sword to her daughter in Karthwasten; Lash will know what it means. | imported |
| Skyrim:Greatsword for a Great Man Adrianne Avenicci is a blacksmith who owns the smithy and weapons shop, Warmaiden's, in Whiterun. When asked if she works her forge all day, Adrianne will admit that she does, and that she recently forged a greatsword for Jarl Balgruuf the Greater in an attempt to impress him. However, she can't seem to find an opportunity to deliver it. She would like for the sword to be delivered to her father, Proventus Avenicci, the steward of Dragonsreach in Whiterun. | imported |
| Skyrim:Grimsever's Return Mjoll the Lioness lives in Riften where she spends her time speaking out against the Thieves Guild and talking to her faithful follower Aerin about the evils in the world. Acting on her convictions, she has taken on the responsibility of patrolling the town, which she does every day; from 9am she can be found in the Market, at noon she will be inside The Bee and Barb, and from 6pm she patrols the streets of Riften until midnight. Once you reach level 14, however, Mjoll will have more on her mind than just the Thieves Guild. In her younger days, she traveled and adventured all over Tamriel but lost her favorite blade Grimsever when she ventured into the ancient Dwemer ruin of Mzinchaleft. The dangers of the ruin nearly took her life as well, so she retired from adventuring and settled down in Riften. She admits that she feels defenseless without her blade and has a hard time finding a replacement. You can then offer to help her and, while she will refer to it as a 'fool's errand', she will also let you undertake the task, adding a map marker for Mzinchaleft. | imported |
| Skyrim:Grin and Bear It Temba Wide-Arm really does not like bears. She is a Nord woman who has sunk all of her money into a mill in Ivarstead. Even in passing you will hear her complaining to anyone within earshot how the bears are running her business into the ground. If you stop to chat she will explain that bears are ruining the trees by scratching up the trunks, rendering them useless as lumber. She is sorely in need of help with the bear problem and offers payment if you bring her ten bear pelts, thus thinning out the bear population. | imported |

Talk to her, and she will reveal that she has an addiction to skooma and that she wants to cure herself. She will ask for a healing potion in order to heal herself. If you probe further she will mention where she got the skooma from, "I got mine off of a merchant ship in Solitude", which ties in with another quest. | imported |
| Skyrim:Hunt and Gather After asking Wylandriah if she needs help she will enlist your aid to help retrieve some items she accidentally left behind while on her travels. She needs these implements to perform an oddly-inspired experiment. All items can be found in unique containers labeled "Wylandriah's Satchel". | imported |
| Skyrim:Ice Cold Wander around Riften and you can find Marise Aravel and her food store at the market. She will introduce her food to you with pride: "My food is the best in all of Skyrim; always as fresh as the day it was collected." If you ask her for the reason to this, she will tell you she picked up a trick from a butcher in Elinhir, a small town over the border in Hammerfell. Grinding up ice wraith teeth and using it as a preservative is the key to keeping everything fresh. Then she will request you to bring her five of them to replenish her supply. You may ask her for some ideas where to find some ice wraiths. She will remind you of some potential danger and suggest you to travel to Ancient's Ascent. | imported |
| Skyrim:I Done Got Thaned! This is an umbrella quest for several other quests that must be completed if you wish to become Thane of the Rift. | Skyrim:Kolskeggr Mine (quest) Upon arriving at Left Hand Mine outside of Markarth, you may overhear a discussion between Skaggi Scar-Face, who is in charge of the mine, and Pavo Attius. Pavo and his fellow miner Gat gro-Shargakh are the only survivors of a Forsworn invasion of Kolskeggr Mine. Skaggi is visibly upset by this news; he gives the two survivors permission to stay at Left Hand Mine, and vows to send word to the Jarl. If you speak with Skaggi, he expresses his concern over the increasing Forsworn threat and the timeliness of a response from the Jarl. If you agree to clear out the mine, he will be grateful, but skeptical about your ability to survive. Speaking with Pavo will also initiate the quest and he will also offer the same sentiments about the Jarl's response and your success in the mine. The quest may not start and dialogue options may not be available if The Forsworn Conspiracy is not completed and your bounty in Markarth is high. | imported |
| Skyrim:Lifting the Shroud When visiting Vilemyr Inn in Ivarstead you may overhear the innkeeper, Wilhelm, warning Lynly Star-Sung about a ghost in the nearby barrow. If you are intrigued and like a good ghost story, Wilhelm will inform you that Shroud Hearth Barrow, an ancient Nord crypt just outside of town, is haunted and warns you away from it as well. When pressed further, Wilhelm will confess to seeing the spirit and complain that the haunting is harming his business. If you volunteer to investigate the haunting, Wilhelm will think you daft and tell you of Wyndelius Gatharian, an adventurer who went to explore the barrow a year ago. Screams were heard in the night, and the adventurer was never seen again. Alternatively, you can go directly to the barrow without speaking to Wilhelm beforehand. | imported |
| Skyrim:Lisbet's Missing Shipment Near the market in Markarth is the general goods store, Arnleif and Sons Trading Company, where the proprietor Lisbet is struggling to keep her business afloat. Not only did she lose her husband, Gunnar, in a Forsworn attack, she also lost dozens of shipments to the Forsworn, including a precious, specially-made Statue of Dibella. She believes this statue would put the store back on its feet. When you speak with her, she is ashamed of the state of her shop and will then ask you a question: "You aren't for hire, are you? A sellsword? I'll pay you if you can recover that statuette from the Forsworn." Accept the task and she will promise you a great sum of gold for your efforts and the quest will be added to your journal. | imported |
| Skyrim:Mine or Yours Redbelly Mine is a small ebony mine located in Shor's Stone. The mine gets its name from the red mist filling the caverns and smelling like the sulfurous hot springs out in the volcanic tundra. The local blacksmith, Filnjar, will tell you the mine is not producing right now. In fact, the mine is currently overrun with spiders. Filnjar is worried that the invading arachnids will venture out of the mine looking for food soon. What's worse, the town guards are as useless as "a fifth wheel on a wagon" as they prefer to keep an eye out for enemy soldiers rather than trouble themselves protecting the town's major commodity. If you are willing to give Filnjar a hand, he will tell you, "Keep to your word, and I'll line your pockets with as much as I can scrape up." | imported |
| Skyrim:Nimhe, the Poisoned One Calcelmo, an accomplished scholar and author, is the owner and curator of the private Dwemer museum and the associated Nchuand-Zel archaeological dig site. Should you wish to enter either of these locales, you must go through Calcelmo. He spends his time at the arcane enchanter set up across the underground river from the entrance to the Nchuand-Zel excavation site. Talk to him about his work, and he will inform you that he has been placed in charge of curating artifacts extracted from Nchuand-Zel, an ancient Dwemer castle located deep within the mountain behind Understone Keep. He mentions his excavation efforts being thwarted by the presence of Nimhe, a giant frostbite spider that is blocking the entrance to Nchuand-Zel. He asks you to kill the spider in exchange for access to both his Dwemer museum and the site itself. If you agree, he will give you the key to Nchuand-Zel. | imported |
| Skyrim:No News is Good News Angeline Morrard is the shopkeeper of Angeline's Aromatics in Solitude. In your conversation with her, she will ask you if you have been to Whiterun. If you tell her that you haven't been there before, she will be understanding and you can talk to her about it later. If you tell her that you have indeed been to Whiterun, she will become very animated. It seems her daughter, Fura, was assigned to Whiterun after she joined the Imperial Army and Angeline was hoping to get some recent news about her. Although Angeline has tried contacting Captain Aldis, she didn't get any information from him. If you are willing to help her get more information about her daughter, anything you can find out would be welcome. | imported |

| Skyrim:Pilgrimage Alessandra is the priestess of Arkay in Riften. She tends the Hall of the Dead, located beneath the Temple of Mara, by herself. When you speak with her, you will note a certain bitterness about her position: "I didn't ask for this job, I got stuck with it thanks to my father." Her father was a Priest of Arkay and it was his desire that she follow his footsteps. As a result, her entire life has been spent around the dead, learning the proper burial rituals and prayers. While she seems to have accepted her lot in life, albeit reluctantly, she feels the need to make peace with her father. Unfortunately, her father did not live to see his daughter become a priest. Alessandra holds her father's ceremonial dagger as well as the one she received when she did complete the training. She asks you to journey to the Hall of the Dead in Whiterun (see Bugs) to place her ceremonial dagger with her father's remains, fulfilling her honor-bound obligation to him and making peace with his memory. The dagger needs to be delivered to Andurs, the caretaker at the Whiterun Hall of the Dead, who will inter it with her father's remains. If you agree to help her deliver the dagger, she'll appreciate your help and entrust you with it. | imported |

During this, a child named Svari is being sent home by her father to spare her from seeing her uncle's execution. Svari can always be found in the streets of Solitude between 10am and 8pm when she plays with the other children. Approach her and she will appear quite sad about recent events, specifically with her uncle. When you tell her you are sorry about what happened with Roggvir, she will respond: "Thanks. Papa talks about it some. Mum doesn't say much since Uncle Roggvir died. She doesn't even go to Temple anymore. I wish she would. At least that way she'd have people to talk to." When you offer to talk to her mother, Svari will encourage you to do it right away and the quest will initiate. | imported |

He'll ask you to do him a favor by delivering a letter admonishing his son for his familial neglect. | imported |
| Skyrim:Salt for Arcadia Farengar Secret-Fire is a dedicated court wizard serving Jarl Balgruuf the Greater at Dragonsreach in Whiterun. Most of his time is spent studying and advising the Jarl on the current dragon threat. However, he does have time to assist the locals in town. If you ask him if he is the only wizard in town, he will acknowledge that while, technically, he is alone in his craft, the town also holds other practitioners. And, since he's on the subject, he remembers he has some frost salts he'd promised to pick up for local alchemist Arcadia, the proprietor of Arcadia's Cauldron. He asks if you wouldn't mind delivering the frost salts; Arcadia will surely compensate you for them. When you tell him you will help him out, he will respond with a disparaging remark, but will hand you the frost salts, a quest item not to be dropped. | imported |
| Skyrim:Salty Sea-Dogs In central Dawnstar, you will find the ship The Sea Squall permanently docked, with inexperienced sailor Captain Wayfinder and his team of disrespectful crewmembers wandering around on deck. Talk to Wayfinder and ask him about the ship and he will provide a bit of background information on his questionable status as captain. He will also hint at problems with his latest shipment, some fine-cut void salts from the College of Winterhold that have gone missing. When asked what happened to the salts he will reveal: "Sailors are what happened to them. They got drunk and ended up losing the merchandise in some cave. If you're not afraid of little exploring, I'll pay good gold to get those salts." | imported |
| Skyrim:Sanuarach Mine (quest) When you first enter Karthwasten, you will see the townsfolk squaring off against a group of mercenaries sent by the Silver-Blood family in Markarth to secure the mine after a Forsworn incident. | Skyrim:Sealing the Deal Upon speaking with Talen-Jei in Riften, he will reveal his affection for Keerava, the innkeeper at The Bee and Barb. He wishes to marry her, but his "meager earnings" haven't allowed him to obtain the gems needed to complete the setting for a proper engagement ring. If you offer to help, he will tell you he needs three flawless amethysts. There are nine guaranteed gems found in eight different locations. Starting at level 12, you may also buy them from merchants at a base cost of 180 gold, find them as random loot, or get them randomly while mining. When you return to Talen-Jei with the gems, he will thank you, and reward you with a random leveled potion. | imported |
| Skyrim:Search and Seizure Ondolemar is a Thalmor Justiciar living in Markarth. You can find him pacing in front of the jarl's throne room in Understone Keep, accompanied by two Thalmor Soldiers. Talk to him and he will tell you his duty in Markarth. "I was sent here to lead the Thalmor's interests in this corner of Skyrim. It's my mission to root out all Talos worship in this city." As a member of the Thalmor, he doesn't recognize Talos as a god and thinks Talos does not deserve to have a place in their pantheon. In his opinion, citizens of the Empire have a responsibility to cease their heretical worship. Then he will pay some attention to you. "You're awfully inquisitive, aren't you? I like that. Perhaps you'd care to solve a little problem I'm having?" He knows that Ogmund the skald, an old and respected man, worships Talos in his home, but the jarl has been reluctant to have him arrested. Ondolemar wants you to break in to Ogmund's home and find evidence for him. | imported |

She's running low and unable to search out the ingredient herself, as she is preoccupied with her energetic sister and farm chores. She asks you to hunt down twenty grapes for her current nirnroot crop. As Avrusa notes, jazbay grapes are somewhat hard to come by. The plants are indigenous to the volcanic tundra region of Eastmarch, and while desolate, the tundra is fairly easy to traverse with a few lesser animals and non-hostile giants. | imported |
| Skyrim:Soljund's Sinkhole (quest) Outside the mine, Perth will stop you and say that the mine is closed until the jarl sends a group to clear out the draugr that infest it, but has given up hope of that ever happening.
