| Skyrim:Heart Stones If you ask Neloth if he needs help with his research, he may ask to buy a Heart Stone from you. If you have one on you, you can simply sell it to him. Otherwise, they can be mined from deposits nearby. He will reward you with 250 gold. | imported |
| Skyrim:Hilund Favor Quest After the quest Retaking Thirsk, the Nord inhabitants will start over inside Thirsk Mead Hall, although Hilund knows that old habits die hard and that the Nords can fall back into coziness at any time. When asked how the hunt is going, she will tell you about an idea she had to prevent future Riekling attacks: "To tell you the truth, I've been a little distracted. I've got this... idea. I want to ring the whole hall with their little spears. Mocking us, from the past. Making us work harder. Fight better. The only problem is, I'm going to need a lot of spears. A lot. So, if you could find a bunch of them for me, that would make it easier on me." After this speech, the quest will start right away. You will need a total of 50 riekling spears so she can decorate the hall. | imported |
| Skyrim:Hrodulf's Madness Note: This quest does not appear in your journal (see this section for details). | imported |
| Skyrim:Hunting and Gathering After completing the quest Healing a House, speak to Elynea Mothren in the Tel Mithryn Apothecary and she'll request that you bring her a particular rare alchemy ingredient. | imported |
| Skyrim:It's All In The Taste In the center of Raven Rock is the only inn in town, the Retching Netch. The proprietor is Geldis Sadri and he can be found on his spot behind the bar around the clock. Talk to him and ask about the specialty of the house and he will proudly answer, "The finest sujamma to cross your lips, friend. My own personal formula that I call "Sadri's Sujamma." In fact, I've just added some new ingredients to the mixture that I think makes it taste better than ever. All I need to do is get the word out that it's ready and they'll flock here for it." Offer to help him spread the word about the new mixture and he will hand you ten samples of Sadri's Sujamma. You are now supposed to find ten thirsty citizens that will try out the new drink in town. | imported |
| Skyrim:Kill the Bandit Leader This is a radiant quest that you can receive from any of the following four people. Apart from Ahtar's quest, which has a fixed location, the dungeon is randomly determined based on the quest giver's hold. | imported |
| Skyrim:Lost Knowledge After completing the quest The Gardener of Men, Tel Mithryn master wizard Neloth will ask you several questions regarding your encounter with Hermaeus Mora. If you have yet to locate any Black Books, Neloth will finish his interrogation with an offer: "Now all that's left are these Black Books, waiting for another ambitious fool to be lured into Hermaeus Mora's clutches. Speaking of which... I think I've located another book, if you're interested. Here, let me show you." This will immediately start Lost Knowledge, a quest divided into three parts, but only if you have yet to discover the Black Books hidden in White Ridge Barrow, Benkongerike, and Raven Rock Mine. | imported |
| Skyrim:Lost Legacy The small settlement of Skaal Village is inhabited by Nords living life the old way, with their own culture and religion, especially the worship of the All-Maker. These welcoming and hospitable people let an elderly historian and author named Tharstan live in the village so he could study and document the ancient Skaal traditions. Using what he learned of Skaal culture, Tharstan wrote Children of the All-Maker, and the next book is nearly finished. He also married the Skaal leader Fanari Strong-Voice and now lives in the largest building in town, the Greathall. After your heroic rescue of Baldor Iron-Shaper during the quest A New Source of Stalhrim, Tharstan will decide that you are the right person for a task he has in mind, and will actively seek you out when you next visit the village. | imported |
| Skyrim:March of the Dead Captain Veleth is the leader of the Redoran Guard in Raven Rock, the capital of Solstheim, his powers only surpassed by Councilor Morvayn and his second-in-command Adril Arano. Recently, Raven Rock has experienced several attacks by ash spawn and Captain Veleth is naturally trying to figure out what is going on. South of Raven Rock lies the burned-out Old Attius Farm where you will find Captain Veleth fighting several ash spawn, immediately starting the quest. Help him defeat the enemies and he will be quite grateful, saying: "Thanks... I wasn't sure I'd make it off this farm alive. I wish I could have said the same for my man here.", obviously referring to the dead Redoran Guard nearby. He then proceeds to tell you about the ash spawn attacks and that he was searching for clues at the old farm when he was attacked. You will now have three different options, each with a different response: | imported |
| Skyrim:Old Friends With his steward killed, his tower withered, and several other annoyances related to Ash Spawn, master Telvanni wizard Neloth finally loses his patience when three Ash Spawn attack his tower. Once you have killed the Ash Spawn, enter the tower and talk to the wizard who will reveal it is finally time to investigate who is behind the attacks: "Yes. I have enemies. Legions of them back in Morrowind. However, in this case I have reason to believe it is someone in Solstheim." When asked if he wants the responsible persons dead, he will respond: "Not yet. That may come later. First I need to identify the culprit. I've enchanted this ring to find the source of the attacks. Here, take it." He will then hand you the Ring of Tracking and explain that you need to wear it in order for it to work. The ring was enchanted with a bit of ash from the last Ash Spawn attack and will allow you to follow the magical link back to the source of the summoned Ash Spawn. However, it has its disadvantages: "The link is weak, so you'll have to be within about a hundred feet of the source." Neloth will then order you to walk around the grounds while wearing the ring. Equip the ring and leave the tower behind. | imported |
| Skyrim:Paid in Full For members of the Thieves Guild back in Skyrim, the local blacksmith of Raven Rock has a very familiar surname: Mallory. Glover Mallory has a house next to his smithy and to the left of the front door is a shadowmark. Approach Glover when he is working the forge between 8am and 8pm and ask about the shadowmark. He will confess his relation to Delvin Mallory back in The Ragged Flagon, saying things like: "So tell me... how's my brother Delvin? Still spending his nights at the Ragged Flagon trying to win Vex's heart?" He will however also say: "Damn layabout never even bothers to send his own flesh and blood a letter saying how he's doing. Can you imagine?" | imported |
| Skyrim:Pain in the Necklace Fethis Alor runs a general goods outfit from his house in Raven Rock. You'll find that he is somewhat bitter about living and working in Solstheim, should you speak with him. One thing that does seem to spark his interest is the East Empire pendants. The pendants were once used as employee incentives, but are no longer being produced and, as a result, are now considered a valuable collector's item. Fethis lets you know that, if you find any of these East Empire pendants in your travels throughout Solstheim, he will be glad to buy them from you for 500 gold per pendant. The pendants are located in East Empire Company strongboxes, which are locked with an expert lock and contain other valuable loot as well. | imported |
| Skyrim:Recipe for Distraction Speak to Captain Veleth in Raven Rock. He tells you that he's concerned about some Emberbrand Wine being stashed by his men. He'd like you to locate the stash and report back to him. He suggests you search near any abandoned buildings in the area: | imported |
| Skyrim:Reluctant Steward The eccentric founder of Tel Mithryn is master-wizard Neloth who works his few employees hard and expects them to carry out even the most unfair duties. His current steward is named Varona Nelas and is constantly challenged by the demanding wizard, who has a weak spot for tea brewed from canis root. Once you have spoken with Varona and left Tel Mithryn at least once, she will be nowhere to be found. Pay a visit to Neloth in his tower and he will wander around saying: "Where is that ash sucking steward of mine? Varona!" As it turns out, the wizard is quite hungry and will task you with finding Varona: "Well find her. Tell her I want apple cabbage stew, with some canis root tea." He will not take 'no' for an answer, regardless of which option you choose: | imported |
| Skyrim:Retaking Thirsk Thirsk, the legendary mead hall founded in the Third Era by Hrothmund the Red of the Skaal, was built for Nord warriors who wanted to live, hunt, and fight in the wilderness, the old way. When you visit Thirsk Mead Hall, it is clear that the mead hall has seen better days, as it is currently inhabited by rieklings, without a single proud Nord in sight. Head east from the Hall and locate Bujold's Retreat, where you will find the former Nord inhabitants, clearly exiled from their own Hall and quite frustrated and embarrassed. As you enter the camp, you will witness a heated discussion between Bujold and Kuvar: | imported |
| Skyrim:Sell Stalhrim Armor and Weapons to Ancarion During the quest A New Source of Stalhrim, you will encounter the Thalmor at an abandoned dock with a ruined shack located at the northwestern tip of Solstheim, Northshore Landing. The landing is inhabited only by a few mudcrabs and will return to having only mudcrabs after the completion or failure of the quest. They seek to obtain stalhrim equipment for the Aldmeri Dominion. | imported |
| Skyrim:Served Cold Once you have completed March of the Dead and The Final Descent, getting near Captain Veleth will make him apologize for bothering you once again and tell you that the Second Councilor of Raven Rock, Adril Arano, wants to speak with you as soon as possible. He then makes it quite clear how important this task is, and when you locate Arano he will wait for you at a secure location, specifically on the road leading to the Earth Stone. | imported |
| Skyrim:Skaal Village Dialogue If you return to Skaal Village after the quest The Fate of the Skaal, you may find Morwen working near the forge. She may tell you, "My mother was Skaal, but she left the village and I was born in Skyrim." If you ask her why her mother left the village, she will tell you the whole story of her family. A trade ship from Skyrim struck ice off the coast near the village, and the Skaal took in the surviving sailors. Her mother, Bera, fell in love with one of the sailors—her father, Ulfarr—and eventually returned with him to Skyrim. However, Bera never returned to the village and died in Falkreath, where little Morwen was born. | imported |
| Skyrim:Speak to Ralis Sedarys at Kolbjorn Barrow You can ask Geldis Sadri in The Retching Netch for any recent rumors. He may tell you that Ralis is looking to excavate Kolbjorn Barrow. | imported |
| Skyrim:Summoning Karstaag Note: This quest does not appear in your journal. | imported |
| Skyrim:Telvanni Research After making your way to Tel Mithryn, find and speak to Neloth and ask if you can help out. He will give you an extractor, and ask you to obtain an ash sample from an ash spawn as he is working on a spell to summon them. He will inform you that the ash sample can only be extracted from a dead ash spawn, but remains confident in your ability to "bring it about." | imported |
| Skyrim:The Chief of Thirsk Hall The legendary Thirsk Mead Hall has a long, violent history and is over 300 years of age, although rumors claim it to be closer to 700. Founded in the Third Era by Hrothmund the Red of the Skaal, the hall was initially built for Nord warriors who wished to live and fight in the wilderness, the old way. Numerous legends of heroic acts surround the hall, but also stories about the chieftains getting killed by their successors. In true Nord tradition, the mead hall was also about downing mead around the clock and telling old tales. In the Fourth Era, the comforts of the mead hall had made the residing warriors too lazy, and, as a result, the hall was an easy target for a group of invading rieklings who overwhelmed the warriors and exiled them to a snowy camp south of their former home. | imported |
| Skyrim:The Ebony Warrior Upon your reaching level 80, a mysterious warrior wearing a full suit of ebony armor will approach you in any major city and challenge you to a duel at his Last Vigil. After the conversation, the quest will then update to give the location, a camp northeast of Fort Greenwall. The Ebony Warrior will not attack you when approached, and will not speak. He will simply stand, brandishing his sword as a clear invitation. You must initiate the attack for the battle to begin. Make sure that you are prepared for one serious fight. It is advised to wear the strongest armor you can get and have plenty of potions at the ready. You may want to bring a follower as well. | imported |
| Skyrim:The Fate of the Skaal After your encounter with Miraak during the quest The Temple of Miraak, a concerned Frea suggests that you follow her to Skaal Village for advice from her father, Storn Crag-Strider. Follow Frea to the Temple's exit and towards the village. On the way she will tell you about the Wind Stone and how her people are working against their will. She notes hopefully that the magical barrier around Skaal Village still stands before heading into town. In the center of the village you will find Storn and town residents Nikulas and Finna in deep concentration, all of them maintaining the magical shield. Frea will rush right up to Storn and talk to him: | imported |
| Skyrim:The Final Descent Once a prosperous East Empire Company mining outpost, Raven Rock's plummet has been a striking one. Now a House Redoran colony, the settlement is virtually forgotten by all except its handful of bleak residents—most of whom lost their jobs when the local mine was depleted. | imported |
| Skyrim:The Gardener of Men By reading the Black Book Epistolary Acumen, you are transported to the realm of Hermaeus Mora, Apocrypha. | imported |
| Skyrim:The Kagrumez Gauntlet A total of five Kagrumez's Resonance Gems can be found in various locations. You only need four, and two of them are located within Kagrumez itself, carried by the leader of the reavers there. One more can be found in a chamber in the upper northeast corner of Nchardak aqueduct (picture). It is small and lying out in the open so beware of sending it flying when fighting the ballista guarding it. A second can be found near the Visage of Mzund in Fahlbtharz (pictured). A third is sold by Revus Sarvani, who is attending the silt strider just west of Tel Mithryn. If he dies, then it can be found on his body, unless his body has been removed; it may also be pickpocketed from him. Once you have found two of the three found outside of Kagrumez, you can go and get the remaining ones there. | imported |
| Skyrim:The Path of Knowledge After suggesting that you cleanse the All-Maker stones to hinder Miraak's plans, the Skaal shaman, Storn Crag-Strider, reveals Neloth visited the Skaal Village some time ago in search of a Black Book. He then suggests you speak to Neloth, as he may have more information about the Black Book that gave Miraak power over dragons. | imported |
| Skyrim:The Temple of Miraak This article is about the quest. For the location, see Temple of Miraak. | imported |
| Skyrim:Unearthed Just northeast of the Old Attius Farm is Kolbjorn Barrow. Outside Kolbjorn Barrow is a lone Dunmer named Ralis Sedarys. Go up and talk to him and he'll explain that he is a treasure hunter and has come with news that he has located a treasure in the barrow, but he cannot afford to excavate it alone and requests a donation of 1,000 gold, with a promise of a share of any treasure discovered. | imported |
| Skyrim:Visit the hunters at Frostmoon Crag You can ask Geldis Sadri in The Retching Netch for any recent rumors. He may tell you about a pack of werewolves in the mountains and advise you to talk to the hunters up at Frostmoon Crag to know more. Alternatively, you might run into a wandering hunter in the northern areas of Solstheim who will tell you about the pack at Frostmoon Crag. Although he will mention the pack to anyone, the quest will only start this way if you're a werewolf and you haven't already heard the rumors from Geldis. | imported |
| Skyrim:Wind and Sand (quest) After completing Experimental Subject, speak to Neloth again about assisting in his research. This time, he will tell you that he is attempting to adapt Redguard magic to the island's ash. He has learned the location of a book through a source of his that would prove invaluable to his spell research. The book is Wind and Sand and is located in a radiant location: a Dragon lair, dragon priest lair, draugr crypt, Falmer hive, Forsworn camp, hagraven nest, vampire lair, or warlock lair. | imported |
| Skyrim:Bandit Attack At some point you may arrive at your newly constructed house to find a group of bandits attacking it. Kill the bandits and then loot them to discover a note that explains why they were attacking. You will discover that your spouse has been kidnapped by Rochelle the Red, and she is demanding 5,000 gold for your spouse's safe release. | imported |
| Skyrim:Build Your Own Home Once you've obtained the favor of the Jarl of Falkreath Hold, Hjaalmarch, or the Pale, usually by doing quests for them, you will be given the right to purchase a piece of land in the hold. In Morthal and Falkreath, you will need to see the steward about obtaining permission; in Dawnstar, it is the jarl who grants permission. After receiving permission, you may purchase the land from the relevant steward for 5,000 gold. The plot will then be marked on your map. | imported |
